Intro / Body

This page is for people already in the UK who need a new sponsor: 13 live listings right now, updated 06 November 2026, filtered to roles where switching is a realistic path — employers who state they will sponsor candidates already in the country. Switching is a normal, legal part of the system: if you hold a Skilled Worker (or legacy Tier 2) visa, you can change employer, but you must get a new Certificate of Sponsorship from the new employer and a fresh visa application before you start the new job. Your current visa does not transfer.

Switching matters most in two situations. The first is choice: a better job, a better city, a better employer. The second is urgency: your sponsor's licence is revoked or your job ends — in which case your leave is normally curtailed and the clock is real. Check any former employer on the revoked list, verify the new one in the Sponsor Licence Checker, and read Switching Your Sponsor in the UK for the exact sequence and the mistakes that cost people their status.

One group should start here rather than overseas pages: care workers already in the UK. Overseas care sponsorship closed on 22 July 2025, but switching sponsor inside the UK remains possible, and care employers do hire switchers — see the Manchester care facet and the care section of the closure guide. The listings below span all sectors, not only care.

Listing Modules & Filters

  • Live listings feed: in-UK switcher-friendly roles (advert states sponsorship for candidates in the UK, or switchers explicitly considered), newest first — count badge 13, updated 06 November 2026
  • Filters: sector · city/region · current-visa friendly (Skilled Worker / Student-to-work switch notes where the advert states them) · experience · salary stated · posted date
  • Salary insight block: from live listings, with link to the Salary Threshold Checker — a switch still has to clear the threshold for the occupation
  • Urgency module: "Sponsor revoked or job ending?" box → revoked list + guide 08 + checker

FAQs

Q: Can I change employer on a Skilled Worker visa? A: Yes. You need a new job offer from a licensed sponsor, a new Certificate of Sponsorship, and a new visa application — and you must not start the new job until the new visa is granted. You can usually keep working for your current sponsor until then.

Q: My sponsor's licence was revoked. What happens to me? A: Your visa is normally curtailed (typically to 60 days or your remaining leave, whichever is shorter) to find a new sponsor. This is general information, not advice for your case — check the revoked list, act fast on the listings here, and consider regulated immigration advice. Your CoS is cancelled and your visa will normally be limited to 60 days, or to the time remaining on your visa if that is less than 60 days. You must leave your job, and leave the UK unless you make a new visa application within that time.

Q: Can care workers still switch sponsors inside the UK? A: Yes — the July 2025 closure stopped new overseas care sponsorship; it did not remove the ability of care workers already in the UK to switch to another licensed sponsor. The closure guide explains the exact position.
