Revoked Sponsor Licence List UK

Companies that were removed from the GOV.UK sponsor register. A removed sponsor cannot sponsor anyone — whatever it promises.

  • Build note: ENGINE-GENERATED from register snapshot diffs (same pipeline as /new-uk-visa-sponsors/). Removal ≠ always "revoked": licences end by revocation, surrender, or lapse/suspension outcomes — the table must carry the neutral label "Removed from register" with the removal date, and must NOT accuse a company of revocation unless an official Home Office source says so. GOV.UK does not publish a separate revocations list and never publishes per-company removal reasons. The public Register of Licensed Sponsors lists current licensees only; a sponsor that disappears from the register has lost or surrendered its licence, or is suspended. Removal entries here are therefore register-diff facts with dates only — there is no 'reason' column, and no reason may be inferred or invented.

Intro / Body (standing copy)

Sponsors leave the UK register every week — licences are revoked by the Home Office, surrendered by companies, or lapse. This page keeps the record: — organisations were removed from the register in the week to 06 November 2026, and the searchable table below holds the removals we have tracked since 06 November 2026. If a company that offered you sponsorship appears here, it cannot sponsor you now — full stop, whatever its letters say. If your current sponsor appears here, you are in the situation the switching guide was written for, and time matters.

This list is also a scam shield. The most durable sponsorship fraud is the ghost sponsor: a company that was licensed (or claims it was) collecting fees for sponsorship it cannot deliver. Before you pay anyone anything, check the company three ways: it must be on the current sponsor licence list, it must NOT be on this removed list, and its live job must be real. Our Sponsor Licence Checker runs the first two checks in one search. The scams guide shows the full pattern library — fake CoS offers, bought "sponsorship letters", fee-first recruiters.

One fairness note, printed because it is true: removal is not always wrongdoing. Companies surrender licences when they stop hiring internationally, merge, or close. We record the fact and the date; we do not invent the reason.

Data Modules

  • Removed sponsors table (searchable): organisation · town · route · removal date (first snapshot where absent, confirmed by the next snapshot) · profile link (profile shows the removed state)
  • This week's removals count + list (computed diff)
  • "Was my sponsor removed?" checker crossover: name search → routes to the Sponsor Licence Checker with the register + removed-list verdict combined
  • Method line (mandatory): "Compiled by comparing daily snapshots of the official GOV.UK register. A name is listed as removed only after two consecutive snapshots confirm its absence."

FAQs

Q: My employer is on this list. Is my visa cancelled? A: Not instantly — but a revoked sponsor normally leads to curtailment of its sponsored workers' leave, with a limited window to find a new sponsor. This page is information, not legal advice for your case: read the switching guide now, check your status, and consider an IAA-registered immigration adviser quickly. If your sponsor's licence is revoked, your CoS is cancelled and your visa will normally be limited to 60 days (or whatever time is left on your visa, if less). In that window you must find a new sponsor and make a new visa application, switch to another route you qualify for, or leave the UK.

Q: Can a removed company sponsor me if it says it is "reapplying"? A: No. Until it appears on the current register again, it cannot assign a Certificate of Sponsorship. Anyone collecting fees on a "reapplication" promise is asking you to fund a hope, not a process.

Q: Why was a company removed? A: The register records presence, not reasons. Revocation, surrender and lapse all end the same way — absence. Unless an official Home Office publication states a reason, we do not guess one.
